capnographyCapnography- This program is designed to provide an introduction to the use of capnography, the measurement of end-tidal CO2. (ETCO2). As an integral tool to assist the clinician with in-depth patient assessment ETCO2 monitoring provides a breathby-breath assessment of the adequacy of ventilation. Clinicians will also be provided with an overview of the human physiology involved in monitoring capnography, the relationship between exhaled and arterial carbon dioxide, interpretations of values and waveforms and various clinical applications.
